Back to the Future day 4
Kevin Bosch, Tania Homen und ihr Citizens of Hill Valley Team haben diesen Ausflug für die OUTATOWNers (Zurück in die Zukunft Fans, die von weiter her angereist sind wie wir) geplant. Vielen lieben Dank! :)
Der vierte Zurück in die Zukunft Tag begann mit einem Ausflug ins Petersen Automotive Museum.
Dort gibt es allerhand Autos zu bestaunen - vor allem epische Science Fiction Fahrzeuge und Oldtimer. Und dies ist auch das momentane Zuhause des "A" cars.
Bei den Dreharbeiten zu Zurück in die Zukunft haben die Produzenten den verwendeten Zeitmaschinen Namen gegeben. Der DeLorean, welcher als "A" car oder auch "Hero" car bezeichnet wurde, war der Detailreichste und dieser wurde auch am meisten für die Szenen in allen drei Filmen verwendet.
Nachdem die Dreharbeiten beendet waren, wurde dieses "A" car zu einer Attraktion in den Universal Studios Hollywood.
Außerdem wurde es nochmal für einige Werbefilme und Specials sowie für die Attraktion Back to the Future - The Ride verwendet.
Nach vielen Jahren sah das "A" car leider nicht mehr so gut aus. Es stand viel draußen und Besucher konnten sich hinein setzen oder auch mal ein Andenken abbrechen, was leider einige getan haben.
Vor ein paar Jahren hat Bob Gale höchstpersönlich ein Team auserkohren, um das "A" car zu reparieren und es wieder in einen guten Zustand zurück zu
versetzen.

The fourth Back to the Future day began with a trip to the Petersen Automotive Museum.
There are so many kinds of cars - especially epic science fiction vehicles and classic cars. And this is also the current home of the "A" car.
When filming Back to the Future, the producers named the Time Machines. The DeLorean, which was referred as the "A" car or "Hero" car, was the most detailed, and
it was the one used most for the scenes in all three films.
After filming was over, this "A" car became an attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood.
It was also used again for some commercials and specials as well as for the Back to the Future - The Ride attraction.
Unfortunately, after many years, the "A" car no longer looked that good. There was a lot standing outside and visitors could sit in or break off a souvenir, which unfortunately
some did.
A few years ago, Bob Gale himself selected a team to fix the "A" car and get it back in good condition.

Auf dem Dach des Parkhauses gab es ein Oldtimer Treffen, bei welchem auch einige DeLoreans anwesend waren! ^^

Das Team hatte organisiert, dass wir nach dem Museumsbesuch in die Sporthalle durften, in welcher der Enchantment under the Sea Tanz stattgefunden hatte. ♥
Wir waren 2015 zur Auktion und abends zum wie Doc Brown sagt "Rhythmischen Ritual" dort und freuten uns, die Halle noch einmal genauer unter die Lupe nehmen zu können. :)

2015 we've been there for the auction and in the evening for what Doc Brown says, "rhythmic ceremonial ritual" and we
were happy to be able to take another closer look at the hall. :)
